Yeap, I'm enjoying every single moment of it :) thank you! The lecture theatre is the biggest one and campus and is usually reserved for the largest lecture group in the university, which happens to be Mechanical Engineering for this year...

That's because you've never been there before, so it's perfectly fine! I've been dreaming to travel to Edmonton, have friends living there as well but all I know about it is that there's a river running through the city  haha!

Yea! In fact it's so huge that it needs three different routes for shutter buses. Although we have public buses coming into campus too, not everyone is willing to pay for the fares (shuttle bus trips are free-of-charge) unless they're desperate if they're running late for lectures. Halls of residence are scattered all around the campus, so does for different schools, so there's a great deal of walking if weren't for the blessing of the divine shuttle bus services  haha!

Actually we didn't even have time to dine in Sakae Sushi or Canadian Pizza because the prices of their food is expensive compared to those found in on-campus canteens. You can get a plate of economic rice (with lots and lots of rice and dishes) at around $2.50 - while for the same plate, you'll have to pay around $4 outside.

Contrary to popular belief, our canteens are not flooded with people who are not studying in the university during mealtime because our campus is just too far away from the closest human settling (exaggeration here, but you'll more or less get my point).

I made good friends over a course of five days - the camp really bonded us together since we've been through a great deal of challenges and fun! Thank you for your best wishes!!!

Oh, I see. It's a little bit different over in Singapore :)
1. Primary school (6 years)
2. Secondary school (4 / 5 years)
3. Junior college (2 years) OR Polytechnic (3 years)
4. University (3.5 / 4 / 5 years)

I'm not quite sure about the Malaysian system, but I hope I got it right!

It seems like you are really enjoying your university life! And it's good that you are.. I quite enjoyed mine as well. I hope that your good times continue until the end of your undergrad years! =D Have lots of fun!

The lecture theatres look like the ones from my former uni, though. I went to a much smaller college -- design school, actually -- to finish up so a lecture theatre would serve to everyone's detriment especially with regards to critiques.

Check out Id's last blog post: <a href='http://www.notbrainwashersafe.com/2008/07/26/seventy-six-short-of-a-hundred/' rel="nofollow">Seventy Six Short of a Hundred.</a>

Gorgeous photos of your campus, Teddy! You know it's funny- i never quite knew what NTU's campus looked like before this post, despite having friends who studied there for a good three years.

wow your campus is soooooooooooooooooooooo HUGE!!! THere's even a shuttle bus?? So cool man! When you mention the name of those restaurants and the food court in your canteen, i can imagine myself eating at the canteen 24-7 everyday if i were to be in your uni hahaha and not to forget, the price is cheaper!

It's great that you have found yourself some close friends in a few seconds! I took a month i think. Anyways, hope you enjoy your uni life, it's going to be great minus the homework and assignments part that is!
