Today is the very key day of my life - it’ll tell me what is my stand in friend-to-friend relationship and my maturity towards solving problems.

Loo Ting and I found a debirs which is the head of his thumb drive, which was went missing for the past week. At last, we sighed, as we had found the key evidence to prove that Kenn Siang and Yu Hang guilty. Ka Him was very nervous, but I managed to keep him cool and calm.

The entire story originates from a conflict between roommates - Kenn Siang and Yu Hang against Ka Him and Loo Ting. Since then, it seemed that Kenn Siang and Yu Hang made several attempts to take revenge. Ka Him recalled that he saw Yu Hang and Kenn Siang destroying Loo Ting’s thumb drive, and they even used the screwdirver to split that thing apart and threw them out at different direction of their room.

It was a hard time for me, Loo Ting and Ka Him carpet-searching the bushes and grass plains near their room. At last, we found the evidence - the thumb drive header.

It was then nighttime when Mr Kwek went to their room and started to question them like prisoners. Outside the room, where I was enjoying the night-time breeze, I actually overheard part of the conversation. Kenn Siang even accused Ka Him for making up the story (which is actually the truth), and said that Ka Him was the main suspect. Luckily Ka Him, although just a mere Primary 6 student, defended for himself and proved himself innocent.

The case was finally settled and Kenn Siang admitted that he was guilty. Yu Hang had no stand - he made no statement throguhout the entire conversation.

I was glad that Loo Ting and Ka Him proved themselves that they were at the right side.

Today is the first day for me to participate in the Hwa Chong Sabbaticals for the second time in the year. Well, I choose the one about “Free Space Communication & Fiber Optics”… and wow, it was really interesting after I have attended the first lesson!

We tried out about using LED Light to send signals from a station to another via Fiber Optics Cabels… that was fun! I also tried to convert AM (amplitude modulation) to FM (frequency modulation), and the entire process is very interesting!

*Hehe, but don’t forget, this 1-week course costs me a wholly S$95.00!

Our lecturer is Dr Lim from dunno-what-university, and he always make the same mistakes as Mr Goh… for example, “Light rays travel in a straigh LINES (shoud be line, duh!)” and “BINALEE (Binary) signals consist of only GEELO (zero) and one…” haha!

By the way, I was very sad that Singapore’s Table Tennis Player, Lee Jia Wei lost her match to get a bronze… everyone is in great disappointment. Never mind, hope that she can try her best in the next Olympic Games in Bei Jing 2008! Good luck!
