Hello there. I am Terry and I am a full-time undergraduate based in Singapore. I take photos, write a blog and design websites.

And no, I'm not a teddy bear.

Design Dumping

I’ve been accumulating a couple of unused design prototypes around, so I thought of dumping two of the nicer ones for you to have a look at:

Adobe Creative Suite 3 Icons

Adobe Creative Suite 3 Icons

The well-known rebranding move by Adobe – they ditched all the old icons and brought in new, plain, simple and colour-coded ones. I’ve always wanted to create the new icon look but it is hard to replicate (or it is because I was just lazy?). Then I stumbled upon this tutorial (Adobe Icon’s on TutorialFx) on how to recreate the icons using simple tools in Adobe Photoshop.

Esprit Raspberry

Espirt Raspberry - Something special everyday!

No, I wasn’t paid to get this done! It is just another way I thank Espirt for bringing us such wonderful flavoured fizzy fruit juices to us. I was once crazy over their drinks and I kept every single bottle after my drink. The lighting effect was partially true, partially fake – a lightsource was placed at the bottom of the bottle and the bottle was propped up by, guess what, my alarm clock! The fake ones were the floating orbs and nothing else. The rough texture wasn’t photoshopped in either – it was my bedroom wall. Check out the original photos below:

Esprit Raspberry - The original photos

It just takes a little photoshop work during post-production :) plus repeatedly trying to draw the perfect path for the orbs using the pen tool.

The whole bottle of Esprit seem so lively after you apply the light effect. Nice work!
By the way, I have tried once of Esprit drink, i find it kinda special, compared to other carbonated drink. (COrrect me if I am wrong, as I think Esprit is carbonated too).
Quite expensive for 1 bottle of esprit.

You make your designs so much more interesting… hands down to your design skills!! I find that I haven’t really worked with CS as much as I used to, and I only do it to blend in pictures for my posts. I haven’t made a wallpaper that I actually enjoyed in a long time. Make me one!! hehe j/k

Hello Easter Egg hunter! You've discovered the magic of the Konami Code!

Yea. You probably know what the Konami code is before getting to this page. So now what? Here is a randomised YouTube video on my favourites list... which includes Rickroll, if you're luck enough to get it.

You are currently watching Hilarious Budweiser Commercial. Loving it? You can even watch the video in its full screen glory :)
