Speaking of Adobe Photoshop CS2, it's kind of Vista-incompatible! I just realised that when I installed it on my new laptop. It crashes frequently :???: ah wells, time for CS3!

I love the new spell-checking feature because I'm a bigass typo person and so the dictionary will definitely come in very handy to me :) heh. Firefox 3 should render pages better (as long as they follow the webstandards, like XHTML and CSS) because it comes equipped with a better layout engine (see the Acid3 test images in the post). In fact, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid3#Layout_engines" title="Acid3 with different layout engines" rel="nofollow">FF2 failed the Acid3 test miserably</a>... but it still did better than IE8 beta. How hilarious. FF2 scored 52/100 while IE8 beta got 18/100... wow

And I must say that you have excellent observation! I have not tell anyone about the colourful loading gif and you found out about it so quickly!

Yep Firefox 3 is way better than the previous version, especially when it comes to the efficiency of using system resources. There's a lot of FF themes that are incompatible with the latest version, but I guess after some time the respective creators will share new themes. Addons are no problem at all because when you launch FF3 for the first time, it'll check through all your addons and disable incompatibly ones (and it'll even give you an option to update it as well!).

Yea how sad! In fact, Safari is the browser that has the best interpretations of web standards, so it should theoretically be the most popular one. Safari loads fast and consumes far less memory that Firefox (FF2 has this notorious bug which causes it to crash after consuming too much memory) and Internet Explorer.

WP2.5 is working fine for me, but the transition from WP2.3 to WP2.5 is a bit of challenge because I had to deal with all those incompatible plugins and a revamped admin layout. Plus, you can no longer drag and drop widgets like you do in WP2.3... I'm wondering why did they leave it out. And they ditched the good ol' dark blue layout for a flimsy colour scheme... :???:

I've been thinking of installing CS3, but I guess I'll leave that for my new laptop :D I'm too lazy to update the programmes on the current one I'm using since I'm switching one soon, heheh *weak smile*

I just got the mozilla firefox 3 a few days back and i totally love the feeling of using mozilla because to me, i think it's the BEST web browser i've ever used. It's much more convenient especially the reload plugin you mentioned at the end. =D

Well, not all sites support safari. I personally think Safari is the most AWESOMEST browser out there.
I would never jump to WP2.5, it isnt that good and still buggy. Ive debugged my own WP2.3.3. It loads faster than WP2.5
Ive tried redownloading and reinstalling. Doesnt work.
Photoshop CS2 is heavy. Try CS3, its a lot lighter than CS2.

Check out NoktahHitam's last blog post: <a href='http://www.noktahhitam.com/hes-the-boss.html' rel="nofollow">He’s The Boss</a>

I also have the new FF3 browser. So far, I have had no major problems with it. My site layouts look fine in them.. haha! I did have a problem when I was beta testing it, especially in the spell checking department. I am quite scrupulous when it comes to spelling, so when I was beta testing the browser, I did not have the comfort of that dotted red line. Drove me nuts. I'm glad they implemented it in the official release.
