Firefox 3 should render pages better (as long as they follow the webstandards, like XHTML and CSS) because it comes equipped with a better layout engine (see the Acid3 test images in the post). In fact, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid3#Layout_engines" title="Acid3 with different layout engines" rel="nofollow">FF2 failed the Acid3 test miserably</a>... but it still did better than IE8 beta. How hilarious. FF2 scored 52/100 while IE8 beta got 18/100... wow :shock: And I must say that you have excellent observation! There's a lot of FF themes that are incompatible with the latest version, but I guess after some time the respective creators will share new themes. Addons are no problem at all because when you launch FF3 for the first time, it'll check through all your addons and disable incompatibly ones (and it'll even give you an option to update it as well!). Safari loads fast and consumes far less memory that Firefox (FF2 has this notorious bug which causes it to crash after consuming too much memory) and Internet Explorer.
