Top Level Edit: It's Nonnie's blog Spiritual Garden's First Birthday today! Go over and wish her blog a happy 1st birthday will you?
It's a Sunday morning. Woke up at 6am (I never did wake up THAT early for school! What's wrong with me
haha!) to do my laundry. Now I know the reason why I must wake up that early - if I don't, I'll clash with the laundry crowd later in the day and I'll end up wearing all my soiled underpants for the rest of the week! Haha!
Okay, forget about those ramblings. This post should be jam-packed with photos! I woke up early and so I managed to catch sunrise with me beloved camera
Some of the photos I've taken even made it into my personal favourites. Well in this photo series you'll me seeing me posting pictures in an orderly manner
so that it will make reading easier.
I started off from the stairwell…

Since there are too many photos to show I've tucked the rest of the post beneath the MORE tag. Before you click the button, just a note - the images shown are smaller versions of the larger ones. They are clickable thumbnails! Clicking on them will open the images in the lightbox
enjoy!
- Sunrise! -
Spotted this magnificent sight was I walked along the road leading towards the canteen. Lovely! I love the design of the lamp-post - minimalistic, elegant, modern and stylish!
- Reflections -
There is this seasonal garden. A winding streams slices the garden into two halves, and since the cleaners cleaned the stream yesertday it looks very blue and clean. Well before that it was clogged with algae (yikes!). Haha!
- Up Close -
I was walking along the flower beds downstairs. As the sun starts to rise from the horizon it bathes these cute little yellow beauties in its warm sunlight. Beatiful isn't it?
- Blue Sky -
My eyes are getting tired of staring those flowers really up close. So I decided to look up at the sky. Woah! Thanks to the small shower yesterday night the sky looks exceptionally blue! What a wonder!
Hope you've enjoyed the photos as well as the way I present them
have a great Sunday everyone!
P.S. ARGHHH I have Math lecture test tomorrow and what the hell am I doing now?! Eeeeeks. Haha!

Nonnie: I’m using a Pentax Optio S55 camera. Consumer grade, point-and-shoot camera. A normal one
thanks for the compliment!
jason: Haha thank you! I’m like a mere 10% through the syllabus to be tested tomorrow. Gee! Midnight mugging sounds like the only viable option now…
Melissa: Harlow princess melissa! Well I use a consumer grade digital camera, those kind of “normal” cameras people usually buy, not that kind of dSLR which professionals use. Well to take these photos I just try to explore new perspectives
the reflection picture is actually the reflection of the blocks in the stream in the seasonal garden downstairs. I just flipped it vertically and adjusted the contrast

Wow. 6:00. Even I don’t wake up that early. XD

I went over to Spritual Garden and wished Kisich’s website a happy birthday.
Is that the building where you live? The design is very different from what I have here. =P
The pictures are very nice. You have a nice camera.

niChoLas: Thank you! Well actually for some photos I tweaked the colour balance and saturation. Like for the macro shots of the flowers, I actually decreased colour saturation and increased red and blue in the photos because it’s way too green
Grace: Haha! if you try sleeping really early you can wake up at 6am
Thank you so much for going over to Nonnie’s blog and wishing her blog a happy birthday. It’s just so nice and sweet of you! Thank you again! Ah wells that is my boarding school (I live there) and it is designed by some Italian architect (woah!). Thanks for the compliments!
Nonnie: Haha really? LOL! I added them just because I was too bored and I was surfing through my archived files when I realised I can use those spirals to decorate
IngSiang: The font I’m using is “Century Gothic”. I love it because it’s round and curvy, and doesn’t have UGLY jagged edges like Times New Roman and isn’t that widely used like Arial and Verdana. But the flipside is that Century Gothic fonts have really large widths so in photoshop I usually compress the distance between each character, or not the words will be too spaced out. Glad to know that you enjoy photography too!

That’s for telling, I will download it later, xD. I use Verdana extensively tho. xD

Your photos are very beautiful and I like them very much. When I see them, I feel a kind of enthusiam for life. Though these things are common, they still can bring happiness to me. I think your photography skill is excellent. These days, I happened to know Mcfly and their songs attract me so much. I’m glad that you love them, too. I come from Shanghai China which is a beautiful city, I hope you can visit it when you have the chance. : )
