Wall cracking and stuffs, giving the residents a headache as it is very very dangerous!! Especially when there are kids in the house, who knows whether the building might collapse or not! But then again, although we did some stuffs and discussion to stop the construction thingy, the government still insist that it is a project bla bla years ago, so they still continue with it. Now the problem is the entire city council is near useless. They have problem with all the lousy road maintainene and with the big big million doller structure some few miles away from my home. Argh~ I do hope that adults can help. But they seemed to be unaware of the building. They've never thought it've existed. If the government would want to somehwat revive the building, they'll have to pump in extra money, which they do not want since they want to keep their wallet FAT. That's the FACT. Sigh~ Sigh. Abandonded buildings lead to urban blight which in turn increases the crime rate and decreases the value of the property surrounding the blighted area. Good for you for noticing and trying to do something about it! You need to get the adults in your community involved. Let them know that these abandoned, poorly executed buildings hurt their homes' value and their businesses for a very long time! They should try to get their local council that no new structures are to be built until these abandonded ones are cleared away or mended and occupied! Very nice blog you have, by the way.
